Create a simple timeline of sewing origins on a blank piece of paper with the earliest date first ending with the most modern dates.

Research the legacy of a famous latino/latina who has made a difference in the world today. See the link below to browse different people if you choose to do this person study. BE SURE TO INCLUDE:
1. Person's name, big letters
2. Their latin roots/ country of origin
3. What is their legacy? What will they remembered for?
4. Why did you pick this person?
5. Sources you used, websites etc. at bottom of page ALONG with your name

Now you get to explore your own culture and identify what is treasured by your family. 
Explore your cultural identity: food, family, clothing, language and traditions, objects and more can be celebrated in this activity. We will learn to embrace our cultures! You may use a box i.e. shoe box or something similar to put 3-7 culturally connected objects in plus photos, and other culturally related materials for the culture representation. See the attached site for more ideas.

Create a 6 page presentation of the people in the country of your choice. Be sure to include images of the people; ethnicity, and their traditional clothing. Include one to three images per page after the title page.  
The title page should include:
Country name
A picture of the country
Your name, period and the date
