Please take the semester exam. You need to have it completed by Monday, May 18th. If you need help, you may use ANY resources that you have been given or can access . Ms. Bishop and I can help you, too.

Using the materials attached, you will create a website that addresses one of the three prompts. As soon as you create the website pages, you will need to upload your website into the assignment. It does not have to be complete and "TURNED IN" until May 8th, but we want to be able to monitor your progress.

You have been assigned a partner and given criteria in order to evaluate your partner's claim statements. This is on a 3 point scale. You will read, score, and justify your answer with appropriate feedback for improvement.
1. Did they answer the prompt?
2. Did they take a position that is arguable?
3. Is it specific enough to answer the "so what" and the "how and why"?

On Monday, 4-6-20, we will look at the children's books in this folder. You will then pick three different titles (not your own) and complete the attached assignment.

Your task is to rewrite your book club book as a children’s book using google slides.

Use the rubric provided.

You must have a “book cover,” you must include at least 5 additional pages but no more than 10 pages, you must include illustrations, and you must convey the theme or message of your book club book.

You can work alone or with members of your book club group. However, if you decide to work as a group and someone from your group does not contribute, do NOT put his/her name on the work.

Read the article.
On a separate Google document answer the following prompt:
Give an example of ethos, pathos and logos. You need a text example (actual text from the article) for each one and explain why the text you chose appeals in the way you say it does. Then answer the following: In this article, which appeal was the most effective and why?

Next Week after we take the Interim Assessment, we will use the above guide to score our informational essays.
