Open the following Google Document and follow the instructions to create your AP Portfolio Login.

Create a Copy of the following Digital Planner and add due dates for your sustained investigation art pieces. You will begin on the month of December and End in May. All of your art pieces should be finished by Monday, May 17! We will be Submitting Your entire Portfolio on May 20, 2021. YOU HAVE 4 MONTHS AND 2 WEEKS TO FINISH. You may delete August-Nov on the calendar if you like.

Insert Planning of your Sustained Investigation (5-7 pieces) or all 15 into your AP Notebook notebook.

Add a short paragraph on the slide labeled my #1 Sustained Investigation in your AP Notebook

Use the following Notebook Assignment to plan your Sustained investigation for your Portfolio. I included two files that have great information and Sustained Investigation Topics that can also help your planning. Don't forget to also use the pinterest folder your created for this class.

Create a Google document and insert a screenshot of your Pinterest account and folder. Include a Pinterest Link to your AP Studio Art Folder which will contain research and ideas for your AP Portfolio.

Your first Assignment!

Students create an illustration for a song that has helped them get through the pandemic so far. The illustration needs to include some of the lyrics within the image, integrated. If there are any words in the song that are not appropriate for school, use symbols instead like #$@*, (but if there are too many inappropriate words, please pick another song).

When work is uploaded, include a paragraph or two explaining your artistic choices, why you picked that song, and how it is connected to you.
