By yourself, chunk and chart one of the informational text that we have read but not charted together and chart it. So chunk and chart either "Silent Spring," "Cats are Better than Dogs," or "Clean Hair or Clean Air. " You will need to make a copy of one of these texts, chunk it, chart it, and submit it hear in this assignment.

On Friday, 2/5/21, you will read and discuss questions with your group. You will then complete the questions at the bottom of this form.

Create a headline about your learning about the structure and evidence used in podcasts. How are they like essays? Extra Extra, read all about it ...

You need to attach your script outline to this assignment. Every single person in the group must submit their own, but everyone in the group can have the same things written on their outline. Figure it out as a group how you are going to write the outline and make sure everyone gets one turned in.

Meet with your book club group and plan your reading schedule.

On a google doc, write one well-developed paragraph, where you explain whether Carson makes a convincing case for her opinion. Use evidence from your graphic organizer and the text. Remember to TAG (title, author, genre) your paragraph and remember to tag (eg. Carson asserts…) or embed your quoted text. Then submit for a grade.

All the directions will be given in class. Your part is due by Tuesday, November 17. Nothing should be turned in because I have access to the Google Site.

We will complete this in class. You will use the hyperdoc below to complete the revising and editing station rotation. Each station's work will be added to this assignment and when all of the stations are complete, you will submit this assignment. Your final draft will be submitted through a separate assignment. So along with the slides, you should submit 5 other documents or links that include:

1. A Flipgrid of you reading your rough draft
2. A color coded copy of your rough draft
3. A peer review copy of your rough draft
4. A Wevideo recording of you reading your rough draft backwards and making changes
5. Evidence that you contributed to the Jamboard
6. A Checklist that you completed all of your rotations will be part of the slide deck.

In addition, you will have Mrs. Garatoni's signature/comment on your rough draft showing that you conferenced with her.

On Friday, November 6th - and not until Friday November 6th - after you have completed all of the revising and editing stations, and after you have made changes to your essay based on the stations and your conference with Mrs. Garatoni, you will submit a final draft of your essay here. This draft will be "clean;" it will not have any markings on it. It will have a heading in the left margin that looks like this:
