Culinary Arts Students Advance to FCCLA State Competition!

Eleven members of the Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) club represented Cole in Corpus Christi this weekend. FCCLA is a Career and Technical Education Student Organization that allows students to compete and demonstrate the professional skills they learn through the CTE program.

Eldred Brinson, Destinie', and Brielle placed THIRD for their Life Event Planning Project, and Catherine Nichols and Daria placed SECOND for their Chapter Service Project and Portfolio Presentation.  Mark Unruh placed FOURTH in Serving Up Success.  All these students qualified to attend the State Meeting in Dallas this April.

Faithsy, Tayshawn Redwine, and Nathaniel Moreno completed a challenging research project and presentation before a panel of judges and did a great job. These students, (Faithsy in particular) put a great deal of work into the project. Please join us in congratulating this determined group of students and their sponsor, Mrs. Skidmore!
