All State Testing Will be Online This Semester

Fort Sam Houston ISD will be giving all STAAR 3 through 8, STAAR End of Course (EOC), and Texas English Language Proficiency Assessment System (TELPAS) assessments online this year. Click the headline above for details.

2021-2022 School Year Calendar

The FSHISD School Board approved the 2021-2022 School Year Calendar at their regular February School board meeting. A pdf version of the calendar can be found by clicking the headline above.

Basketball State Semifinals Ticket Info!

At 12 noon today ticket sales will be available on the PayK12 website. When you get to the, “find your school to get started” bar please type, “Jack C. Hayes High School.”
into the search. This will take you to the webpage where our tickets will be available. You may have to click, “view all events” to find our game. It will be, “3A STATE SEMI FINAL LITTLE RIVER ACADEMY VS SA COLE.”

Please be advised that tickets may sell out extremely fast there are only 225 tickets available.

Safety Protocols Still in Place

While FSHISD awaits additional guidance from TEA, all current safety protocols will remain in place, including the use of facemasks. On all FSHISD campuses and facilities, a facemask will continue to be required. Thank you for

Dual Credit Enrollment Deadlines Extended

Due to the winter storm, the deadlines for the first steps of the Dual Credit Registration Process have been extended.
ApplyTexas Applications can be submitted through Friday, February 26.
Banner IDs and GoFAARR Mododules must be completed by Thursday, March 4. Click the header for a direct link to the Dual Credit page with more information.

Dual Credit Student Information/Applications Sessions During FLEX

Sophomores and juniors, you have the opportunity to attend a Dual Credit Information/Application session during FLEX on Monday, February 8 or Thursday, February 11. These sessions will explain the registration process and our Dean will help students get started on the applications. Click the header for more Dual Credit Registration information.
Next year students can take dual credit English III or English IV. The English IV option is a little different than in prior years. It will serve those English III or AP English Language and Composition students interested in earning Dual Credit during senior year. No prior dual credit courses are required.

Cole Celebrates Black History Month

This year’s theme is “The Black Family: Representation, Identity, and Diversity”. Opportunities have been prepared to get students involved in exploring, celebrating, and sharing their perspectives on the impact of Black History. Most events take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Homeroom, FLEXtime, and sometimes both. CLICK the header for a calendar with more information.
