Welcome to JROTC

Welcome to Cole High School JROTC!  Our mission is to help young people be better citizens.  You and your family made a great decision to join our JROTC Cougar Battalion.  This program serves as a leadership laboratory where Cadets develop and practice the skills and traits necessary to succeed both in school and in life.  I look forward to an exciting year with the Cadets.  

 

As the Senior Army Instructor, I am responsible for overseeing and managing the High School JROTC program and the Middle School LCDC program.  I retired in 2021 with over 30 years in the Army.  Leadership and mentorship have always been important to me, and I continue to emphasize these areas with the Cadets. We have many opportunities for Cadets to grow, learn and develop their skills-- to include service learning projects, volunteer activities, Color Guard, JROTC Leadership and Academic Bowl teams and Physical Fitness teams.  I'm very excited about all the success the program has achieved thus far, with many Cadets earning ROTC scholarships or selection to a Service Academy, and I can't wait to see how each Cadet grows and learns this year.
