Ms. Tina Barajas
Hello! I am excited about starting my 3rd year teaching here at Cole and my 32nd year teaching art.
Before teaching here at Cole, I taught Art in North East ISD for 29 years.
I was born and raised here in San Antonio in a family of six kids.
I am a graduate of Trinity University where I received both my Bachelor of Arts and my Master of Arts in Teaching.
I am the mother of a basketball loving, 15-year-old high school freshman. I spend most of my free time taking my son to and from practices, attending basketball games, listening to music, tending to my plants, and doing mundane tasks around my house.
An interesting fact about me is that I played volleyball and soccer for Trinity University. Another interesting fact about me is that I backpacked through many of the countries in Europe.
These first two years here at Cole have been absolutely wonderful. I love Cole! The students have created lots of amazing artworks and I'm super excited to see what they will create in the future.
Please check out the slide show below to see some of the incredible artworks created by our awesome students this past year.
