About Me

        It is a wonderful pleasure to be a 9th and 10th grade school counselor at Robert G. Cole High School.  I was born and raised in Laredo, Texas, a small city near the border with Mexico.  My 15 years of experience in education come from teaching bilingual education (Spanish) to beautiful students of all races and colors in the San Antonio area.  My experience working with children also comes from 7 years of fostering many children ranging from 8 to 18 years old.  I earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2006 and a graduate degree from Texas A&M University at San Antonio in 2023.  I believe that all our children at Cole have incredible potential to become high-contributing members of society that will affect the lives of many citizens in the future.  I'm here to ensure our students have direction, that they feel safe, and that they learn how to manage their emotions so that they are prepared to take on the world for their future.
