About Mrs. Rydell

Hello! My name is Emily Rydell and I'm thrilled to be starting my 12th year in Literacy Education! Serving the wonderful families here at Cole is especially meaningful to me. My father was a proud member of the U.S. Army and retired here in San Antonio in 2001, so Fort Sam truly feels like home.

 

When I'm not in the classroom, my husband and I are busy with our three amazing children, who are 8, 4, and 2. My husband is also a teacher - he coaches football and wrestling and teaches math at Roosevelt High School. As a family, we love spending time outdoors, traveling, and spending quality time with our families.
