About Me

Hello everyone,

My name is Celinda Finnell, and I am the ISS/ DAEP teacher this year at Cole MS/HS. I also coach 8th Girls Volleyball, Basketball, and HS Girls Track. I’ve been teaching for 10 years, and every year I feel even more grateful to do what I love—helping students learn, grow, and find joy in Physical Education and sports.

I earned my degree in Kinesiology from The University of Texas at San Antonio, and I’ve taught from Elementary all the way to High School. I am married and am a proud mom of two energetic boys who definitely keep me on my toes! My family and I love spending time outdoors- whether it is hiking, going to the beach, or playing at the park. When I’m not outside or chasing after my kids, you can probably find me curled up binge-watching a good TV series!
