Welcome
Welcome to my school webpage. Now that you are here I should probably tell you one very important fact: I won't use this page. I will be extensively using Google Classroom for all of my classes. In the first week of school I will be enrolling all students and their parents/guardians in their corresponding Google Classrooms. Parents who enable reports will get daily reports on what assignments are due, have been turned in, or are past due. PARENTS: PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAILS (AND IF NEEDED YOUR SPAM FOLDERS) FOR THE GOOGLE CLASSROOM GUARDIAN INVITATION.
I currently teach AP World History and Pre-AP World History: Modern. For AP, our school utilizes the project-based learning (PBL) curriculum published by College Board. It is a fantastic tool that has been hugely beneficial to our students and AP students across the nation. Please note that my Pre-AP course is not an honors or advanced course, but is designed for grade-level learning. The reason it is called Pre-AP is that the curriculum is designed to appropriately challenge students in a way that should better prepare a larger number of students to take advanced coursework in later years should they want to.
If you are interested in learning more about what I teach in my Pre-AP Classes, please check out this Google Document. If you are interested in learning more about the sequence of learning and/or want to see the various deadlines for student learning in my AP World History: Modern course, please check out this Google Document. Please note that these are living documents and are adjusted as needed based on the needs of my students.
To all my students, please visit your respective Google Classroom for the information, content, and tasks you need to complete. If you have any questions about any of this or have any difficulty, please email me at [email protected].
