Steven Tobias

Hello, My name is Steven Tobias.  And, I am honored to serve the military child.  I am serving the faculty and students as the Special Education Coordinator for Cole Middle/High School.  In my prior work experience in Special Education, I have served as a resource teacher, an inclusion teacher and campus lead within local school Districts in Bexar County.  I have more than 20 years of education experience to include classroom teaching and coaching athletic teams at the elementary and middle school level.

I obtained both my Bachelors and Masters Degree in Education from Southwest Texas State University (Texas State).  And, I have certifications as a Generalist 4-8, Special Education EC-12 and my Principal Certification.  Personally, I have wonderful wife (a technology teacher) and 4 children.  My eldest is a 24 year old daughter (a graduate of Texas Tech! Wreck Em!) living in Dallas working as Public Relations account executive.  My twins sons are completing their freshman year at St. Edwards University (Fear the Goat!) in Austin (they are Pre-Med and Political Science majors); and I have 15 year old 8th grader at home who excels in club volleyball.  I adore my black cat (Lucky) whom I rescued.  I enjoy all sports activities and find pleasure playing golf and reading at Barnes and Noble.
