About Me

I welcome you and your child to the Leadership and Character Development Corps, (LCDC) Program. I am proud to be the middle school instructor for the Leadership and Character Development Corps, (LCDC). This is our sixth year for the program and we continue to grow. I would like to think it's because the cadets are enjoying it so much they forget they are learning. It gives me great joy to watch them transform from August to May.  In the beginning, they are meek and mild but when May comes around they are leading and taking charge. This is a positive step in life lessons.

I look forward to another successful year of turning young students into young leaders in school and life.

Prior to becoming the LCDC Middle School Instructor, I worked in the special education department here at Cole Middle School.

I retired from the military after 20 years in February 2002.  I grew up on a farm in Arkansas. It was farm life and my parents that helped teach me that hard work, dedication and commitment takes you far in life.  It is those skills that drives me to want to grow and develop our young students today. When I'm not planning activities for the cadets I enjoy cooking, reading and creating memories with my family.
