Shown above is our "Target goals" vs our "Actual goals", pertaining to our volunteerism in the battalion. We project that this rise in hours will continue to increase as well as super-pass our goal of getting 10% more than the year before.
2017 CASA Drive Participation
CASA stands for Child Advocates of San Antonio. CASA is a foundation for children being who are brought into foster care systems. CASA is made up of a large group of volunteers that are case workers who are advocating as well as providing services for the children of San Antonio. Every year CASA, along with others, contribute in a donation of toys for children who aren't able to receive some as others may. Our JROTC program participated in this volunteering event involving CASA, on December 15th and we are happy to say that the Battalion put forth over 85 toys to the drive. The CASA Community was over joyed to see our kindness as well contribution and even posted about our attainment in an article.
