Campus Based Military Liaison's Role

Our Campus-Based Military Liaison’s role is to serve as the primary point of contact for military-connected students and their families throughout both the enrollment and exiting process. They are responsible for ensuring a smooth transition as well as providing access to supports and resources throughout a student's stay at FSHISD. In order to facilitate these duties liaisons are well versed in enrollment/exiting procedures unique to military children. They work hand in hand with Campus Counselors, Military Child Education Coalition (MCEC) Liaisons, Military and Family Life Counselors (MFLC), Texas Student Data System Public Information Management System (PEIMS) Coordinators, Special Education Coordinators and staff, the Joint Base San Antonio School Liaison Officer (JBSA SLO) and various other school employees to make the entire process as seamless as possible.
