About Me

About me

I was born at Fort Stewart, Georgia and proud to be a military brat. I have been employed with Ft. Sam Houston ISD for over twenty years. I absolutely love teaching the children here. I began teaching third graders and have taught in sixth grade the longest.

I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Valdosta State University. Before I began my teaching career, I was fortunate to visit many amazing school districts throughout the Florida region while working with the Education Standards Commission at the FLDOE. After receiving my Master of Science degree in Interior Design, I worked as an interior designer, for an international professional services company in design and consulting called Stantec Inc. On the weekends you can find me on the trail with my horse, binge-watching Netflix, or sipping coffee with friends.
