About Me

I am thrilled to be teaching at Ft. Sam Houston for my 13th year. This is my second time to work here. I have served Ft. Sam ISD as a teacher of the visually impaired, a middle school co-teacher, and now as a 6th grade ELAR teacher.

 

I love to travel, go to concerts with my husband, and bake whenever I can. We have a cat and a dog, so it's always fun to compare notes with my students about our pets. 

 

During the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, I baked a lot. So much so, I decided to open a cookie business. It definitely keeps me occupied when I'm not at school, and I love to share that with my students as well. 

 

I am a military child, spouse, and parent. Five of our kids have attended Ft. Sam schools, and the last two graduated from Cole in 2020. I understand how difficult it can be for our kids to move around so often. I hope you find Robert G. Cole to be a safe place for them to land, even if it is just for a while.
