Grades

We encourage parents to view students' grades frequently. Updates occur often. Consider teaching your child how to check their own grades. Students have access to school computers before school or during lunch. Some common abbreviations in the grade book are:

M = missing (not turned in, grade is now a 0)
I = incomplete (The teacher is waiting for the assignment to be turned in/corrected, this grade will turn into a 0 if not turned in.)
NA = excused/excluded (The student does NOT need to complete assignment, this is NOT hurting the student's grade.)
No grade = teacher is still grading the assignment
