About Me

This is my eighth year as the  photography teacher at Cole High School. Before that I taught journalism and English in NEISD after receiving my BA in Interdisciplinary Studies from UTSA.

Owning my own photography business, I strive to impart knowledge and relevant experiences that will inspire my students and prepare them for life beyond high school.

I balance my time between working at Cole and managing my insanely busy family. My husband is an aerospace engineer at Southwest Research and I have two children, Chase (15) and Rylie (14) who you might see as models for our classes from time to time. Chase is a sophomore at Alamo Heights High School and Jr. Olympic diver. My current teaching schedule allows me to spend time with him even with his demanding practice and travel schedule. Rylie is an avid tennis player and is starting her freshman year at MacArthur High School.

I know that I am blessed with the perfect job and am so happy to be a Cole Cougar. I love sharing creativity and journalism with some of the best students on the planet!
